How-to-Create a Vision Board
A vision board is a collection of words, phrases, images, and pictures that affirm your vision of specific desires, goals, or dreams. A vision board is also known as a dream board, faith board, treasure map, and a life vision map.
Write your vision and make it plain. Create your vision in 3-D and make it tangible. The vision board becomes personal art work of your dreams. When we visualize our dreams, we can realize our dreams. The tote-a-visions gives one the ability to carry their vision boards (up to five at a time) around with them. You chose which vision board to be the cover of the day.
Basic Steps:
1. Decide the primary theme for each board you create. The theme may be
based on something specific you wish to accomplish or obtain, or it may be a
general idea of everything that represents the life you envision for yourself.
2. Find pictures, words, or phrases that correspond with your theme, either
from magazines, photographs, craft store word stencils, or images from the
Internet.
3. Cut out pictures from the magazines or print images found on internet. Cut
out words or phrases that affirm your theme or specific images. Type or write
some affirmations that correspond with your theme.
4. Glue your pictures, words, phrases, and affirmations to your Tote-a-
Vision™ poster board. Fill up as much white space on your board as possible.
5. Insert them inside the transparent body and sleeves of the Tote-a-Vision™.
The Tote-a-Vision is sized to fit a composition notebook.
6. Journal your thoughts regarding your vision inside the notebook covered by
the Tote-a-Vision.™ View your board at least once a day, and focus on the
objects, words, phrases. Speak aloud affirmations in the present tense as if
you already realized them
7. Carry your vision boards with you everywhere you go.
